FAQ « Thread Started on Aug 5, 2008, 4:13pm » {Actually, I've never been asked these questions before. I just thought it would be useful.} What's a RPG? In the military, a Rocket Powered Grenade. On the internet, a Role Playing Game. That is, you get to create a character who can interact with other characters! What's OOC and IC? OOC=Out Of Character, IC=In Character What's with the name of the website? Bocealdor is taken from the Anglo-Saxon {old old English} language. Boc means Book, and Ealdor means Life. How do you pronounce that? I have no clue. Ask Tolkien or someone. o.o I'm guessing it would be something like Boke-ay-al-dor... What characters are allowed here? Anything from a book, movie, or your imagination--that's pretty broad. So we can have Elves, Hobbits, Jedi, Dragon Riders, Flying Racoons, Talking Mushrooms...there's really no limit. Are we allowed to play canon characters? No. Only characters from their world. Are we allowed to play crossover characters? Yes, please, go ahead! Though the Council may not be happy... What's the square root of 36 hundred multiplied by 50? *Dies* Hey! You stole the category bar things from HotC! Yes, their the same. But I made them myself, and I'm admin on both here and there, so... Who made the logo and background and graphics and stuff? Me, unless stated otherwise. Wow. On HotC, you're Esperanza. Here, your name is Esteleth, who is a character of yours who has a brother named Erynion. Your favorite characters from LotR are Elrond, Elladan, and Elrohir. You really like names beginning with E, don't you? Yes, I do, but what does that have to do with Bocealdor?
